Head Chef

My first love for food came from helping my parents with dinner and Sunday lunches as a child. They both love cooking and I aspired to be able to cook like them one day. And going to my grandparents for Sunday lunch and I still remember the smell of thyme and garlic running through the kitchen.

I first started cooking professionally at 17 working with former Head Chef, Mike Peters, at my cousin Sam’s restaurant. Mike taught me to love and treat all ingredients with respect, which really opened my mind to cooking and different flavour combinations.

I also spent time working at the two Michelin-starred Ynyshir under Chef Patron, Gareth Ward. Ynyshir was really eye opening to different styles of exceptional food and service.

My food style is pretty simple, but I’m all about using and respecting quality ingredients, bold flavours and classic combinations with a couple of twists.

I’ve got a real passion for the hospitality industry, and nothing makes me happier than seeing guests leave with a smile on their faces after a great dining experience.

Over the years, I’ve honed my skills in managing a team, ensuring top-notch customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality. I thrive in fast-paced environments and love the challenge of exceeding expectations.
