I’ve been passionate about cooking since I started as a Kitchen Porter back in 2006 while studying Law.

When I asked the head chef if I could have a go at cooking, he replied with “no, this is not a toy”. This gave me the drive and courage to leave Law school and pursue a career in cooking. I worked my way up the ranks form Kitchen Porter and made it to Head Chef by the time I was 26 years old.

I predominantly worked in the fine dining sector of the industry, which allowed me to travel the world working in Thomas Keller’s kitchen on a six-star cruise line.

Then, I proceeded to spend a lot of time in London working in one of Gordon Ramsay’s Michelin starred restaurants which also allowed me the opportunity to cook in Buckingham Palace.

After spending so much time in major cities, I thought it was time to live in a calmer environment and Cheshire was the prime location and decided that The Forge Restaurant and Hotel Indigo will allow me to achieve my professional goals.

With an amazing kitchen and team, There are no limits to what we can achieve here at The Forge.

I’ve got a real passion for the hospitality industry, and nothing makes me happier than seeing guests leave with a smile on their faces after a great dining experience.

Over the years, I’ve honed my skills in managing a team, ensuring top-notch customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality. I thrive in fast-paced environments and love the challenge of exceeding expectations.
